CareAxis was born from two founding organizations with over a century of combined experience operating affordable senior housing and driving innovation in aging and healthcare.
We didn't build CareAegis because we saw a market opportunity. We built it because we watched operators struggle with a problem that kept getting harder — and knew there had to be a better infrastructure.

OUR STORY
The infrastructure
was always missing.
For years, affordable housing operators have been asked to do more — more coordination, more health support, more documentation, more outcomes reporting — with tools that were never designed for this work.
Service coordinators were building caseloads in spreadsheets. Compliance teams were drowning in manual TRACS submissions. And residents with five or more chronic conditions were falling through gaps that no one had the visibility to close.
The problem wasn't the people. It was the absence of purpose-built infrastructure for the intersection of affordable housing and healthcare.
CareAxis was founded to build that infrastructure — starting with a live pilot deployment at Genacross Lutheran Services that produced documented, measurable outcomes across 1,672 residents before we went to market.
